"Director's Cut" is a module in the annual cultural fest of National Institute of Technology, Silchar called Incandescence. One of the most prestigious events to take place under Dramatics and Dance Club, NIT Silchar, Director's Cut is an online short film submission competition. The entries that are submitted are then screened in the campus and are judged by eminent personalities. Over the years, Director's Cut has been successful in igniting the interest of direction, cinematography and acting in many college students. A testimony of that is the sheer quality of films that have been produced for Director's Cut. The Chain, Breathe, Cross Connection and many such short gems can be found on the official YouTube channel.
