"Director's Cut" is a module in the annual cultural fest of National Institute of Technology, Silchar called Incandescence. One of the most prestigious events to take place under Dramatics and Dance Club, NIT Silchar, Director's Cut is an online short film submission competition. The entries that are submitted are then screened in the campus and are judged by eminent personalities. Over the years, Director's Cut has been successful in igniting the interest of direction, cinematography and acting in many college students. A testimony of that is the sheer quality of films that have been produced for Director's Cut. The Chain, Breathe, Cross Connection and many such short gems can be found on the official YouTube channel. Out of the many short movies, "The River Island Tale" directed by Porag Jyoti Gogoi and Hritiz Gogoi has garnered national recognition as it has been to various film festivals of India such as Brahmaputra Film Festival and The Woodpecker International Film Festival. This year too, Director's Cut is returning in Incandescence 2016 and the quality of films that are to be submitted is definitely something to look forward to:

Very few times an event captures the imagination and soul of the public on such a large scale. What INDIE LAKE 2015 was able to achieve was nothing short of magical. When a group of young college students driven by hope, foresight and sheer unparalleled ambition come together to organize an event such as INDIE LAKE, success is inevitable. The boat rides, the lake views, the setting sun and its horizon are all set to return as we prepare to welcome amongst our midst INDIE LAKE 2.0 this February. So get ready to sing along or even better grab a guitar and join in as the stage is set and INDIE LAKE 2.0 promises two spectacular evenings by the lake which shall be etched in your memory forever.

Indie Lake being held in the annual festival of Incandescence is held during a duration of 2 days. The first day is dedicated to VOICE OF INCAND which is a solo singing competition and is judged purely on the basis of singing talent although they may be accompanied by an instrument of their choice.
The second day of Indie Lake is dedicated to INDIE LAKE UNPLUGGED which is a purely acoustic event for the bands to showcase their talent. Bands are allowed to play any acoustic instrument be it the guitar strings or the dhol or the precaution instruments.

1. "GROUND ZERO" is the sub module of natraaj which is the first ever of its type in barak valley which aims at promoting Hip Hop culture .There will be 2 events under GROUND ZERO-
1. 1 vs 1 bboying battle
2. 1 vs 1 popping battle
3. Crew battle (maximum of 7 members and minimum 5)

Registration Fee -
1. 1 vs 1 bboying battle : ₹ 200
2. 1 vs 1 popping battle : ₹ 200
3. Crew battle : ₹ 600

Prelims
1. The performance can at max extend to 3 minutes.
2. All dance forms are allowed.
3. Participants have to bring sound tracks in CD/pen drive and submit the tracks prior to the event to the organisers.
4. Top 10% will make it to the finals (can vary depending upon participation and quality of performances)
5. The decision of the judges and the organizing team will be final and binding.


Finals
1. The finalists are free to choose songs and dance forms of their own choice.
2. The performance duration for the finals is 3-5 minutes.
3. All dance forms are allowed.
4. Participants have to bring sound tracks in CD/pen drive and submit the tracks prior to the event to the organisers.
5. Accessories, costumes, props will have to be arranged by the participants.
6. The decision of the judges and the organizing team will be final and binding.

United Nations Security Council : Restructuring of the UNSC.

Razzmatazz is a hunt for the school with the maximum variety.
